About us and how we work
Hansons is a thriving chartered accountancy practice based in Castleford. We have a close-knit team of 25, including four partners.
The absolute core of our philosophy is delivering outstanding client service, based on forming a close and friendly working relationship with our clients. That way, you can be sure that we are able to deliver everything we promise on time, at the agreed price and on the agreed terms. As a client, you will be encouraged to provide regular, constructive feedback because we are committed to continually improving our service.
Although we operate across a wide range of industries, we are growing in several specialist areas, for example professional practices, property investment, healthcare, agriculture and the charity sector.
Our clients range in size from large private companies with a turnover in excess of £20 million to small businesses turning over less than £100,000. We are authorised to carry out audit work by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and we are fully up to date with the specialised accounting and auditing requirements of every sector we work in.
As a client, you can only benefit from our service if you understand the advice and information that we provide. This means that we will always communicate with you in plain English and we never, ever patronise our clients by using technical jargon. We believe that we all benefit if we work together with our clients as equal partners.
You will also benefit from:
- Fixed fees - no hidden surprises. Once we have agreed a price and scope for a piece of work, that is the price you pay, not a penny more.
- Guaranteed delivery. At the outset, we will agree a realistic timetable for the work to be carried out and, once we have agreed this, we guarantee that we will not cause any delays and, to ensure that you can be confident that we will be up to live up to this promise, if we do fail to deliver, you will have the right to disregard the fixed-price agreement and pay whatever amount you feel is more appropriate.
